Refreshments at the ready in impressive style and with huge selection

Croydon Harriers is a registered charity (no:1125648) and rely on generous donations and volunteers to survive. Even if you can’t compete, there are many ways to get involved and contribute to the smooth running of the club that we all know and love.

All contact information can be found on the Contacts page.

The Committee
Behind the scenes, the club is run by a small and dedicated group of volunteers who organise everything from the competitions in which we compete, to the financial operations of the Harriers. And here at Croydon, we’re always on the look out for new enthusiastic members to join the committee. To get involved or submit ideas, please get in contact with General Secretary Peter Roberts .

Coaching
The Harriers are proud to boast some of the most talented athletes in the region, who are helped along the way by our team of hard-working coaches. And now Croydon is offering you the chance to join our ranks, as an athletics coach. Nothing can beat the feeling of helping athletes achieve their goals and now you can experience this with the Harriers.

In exchange for coaching our athletes twice a week throughout the year at the Arena, we’ll help subsidise your coaching qualifications and do everything we can to help you become the best coach possible.

So whether you’re an established coach looking for a new challenge, or a new starter with bags of enthusiasm, get involved today and contact Coaching Secretary Mike Fleet.

Officiating
If you’re a strong team player with unfailing enthusiasm, then becoming an Athletics Official could be right up your street. The club’s network of officials travel to a number of our athletics events throughout the season, and provide valuable assistance to the smooth running of the event’s proceedings.

With no prior experience needed, you could become a fully trained official within months and help contribute to club events in the process. Some of our officials have gone onto officiate at national and even international events, and now you have the chance to follow in their footsteps.

To get involved, contact Don Webb today.

The Croydon Harriers catering team
One of our biggest sources of revenue (which goes towards competition entries, equipment purchases and travel fees for example) comes from our highly renowned catering team who work tirelessly throughout the season.

With the track used by a plethora of schools throughout the summer, our refreshments team are in high demand. It is thanks to their commendable efforts, that the club can rest easy over their finances.

All our volunteers make invaluable contributions, and now you can join our team and make a huge contribution to the club along the way.

No previous experience is necessary, for more details contact Catering Manager Linda Harrison .

We're also available to hire for local athletics events, and have previously been at the Surrey County Champs and Inter-County competitions, and have been highly praised for our work.
