Harriers high relay hopes on Hopeson sisters. Joselyn Hands to younger sister Twinelle on final 4x400 leg at Battersea earlier this month
The small women’s team continued to compete with commendable spirit and greatly benefited from the big hearted input of the Hopeson sisters Joselynn and Twinelle who contested seven events four of which resulted in A string victories three of them, 100m, 200m and 400m going to U20 prospect Twinelle who was dominant in the 200m and 400m , in the latter finishing over 5sec clear in 59.3sec. Such was their involvement that senior sprinter Joselynn even made a sub 3 minute 800m debut in the quest for poits.

The Campbell family in put was impressive too with mother Anna the team manager winning the javelin at 25.69m recovering from a tumble in the hurdles to score. Eldest daughter Odette registered a 1.50m high jump victory, took a tight second in the B200m in 26.7sec and tied for first place in the triple jump with a 9.67m effort..

U17 thrower Leah Anderson won the discus comfortably with a 23.05m throw and took second in the shot too.

The Harriers 4x100m and 4x400m teams both romped home victorious in 50.5sec and 4:39.9..
