Darren hands over to Oweka in the 4 x 400 Relay

Croydon Harriers' senior men may have bowed out of the 2nd tier of the Southern League today at Hastings, but certainly didn't go down without a fight.

A hat-trick of wins from Kariym Irving (Shot Putt, HJ and Discus) as well as a plethora of 2nd placings including Oweka Wanogho, Darren Wollen and Nic Spence to name but a few kept us in the mix.

But despite the best efforts of those willing to fill gaps in unfamiliar territory, a lack horizontal jumpers and specialist throwers ultimately proved costly.

The day was however capped off with 2nd place in the 4x400m.
