The news report from the 2011 Awards night
For Track and Field events, and for the Marathon, championship trophies will be awarded to the athlete finishing top in the event ranking lists at the end of the season (30th September).
Performances must have been achieved while representing the club, or in a meeting approved by the Competitions subcommittee. The athlete must have paid his or her subscription, and must have represented the Club in league competition during the year. Awards will be presented at the Annual Dinner. (End November or Early December).
For Cross Country and Road Running (other than the Marathon), championship races will be held, and will be publicised on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.
All track and field trophies should be returned to the General Secretary not later than 1st September. Cross Country and Road Running trophies should be returned not later than 1st February.
Any athlete failing to return a trophy by the relevent date will not be entitled to receive any club trophy for the following year.
Details of the trophies recipients previous to 2005 will be added bit by bit. Current years from 2005 to 2011 can be viewed in the Related Document at the bottom of this page. This is a Microsoft Excel document to enable you to filter your viewable selection.

Below is a video of the presentation slides and 2 videos of Colin Oxlade and Don Webb (these 2 videos can also be viewed in better quality from the Awards News item. This will be available on the Media Page soon) - all used at the Annual Club Awards on Friday 2nd December 2011. So if you were there, then another chance to see it all wrapped up into 1 video. For those who missed out - well sadly you really did miss out a great evening - hope to see you there next year for those receiving awards as well as those supporting those who are getting awards. At the end of the video is a summary tour of the Club Awards database. If the screen is too small - there is a icon bottom right to get Full Screen or double-click on the video. However mostly it will be poorer quality in full screen mode - so probably best to view it in YouTube site then click on the Expand icon bottom right. That seems the best option for this video). Enjoy.
